Leni Calosing​ Certification Director​

Leni has been involved in creating and growing Barreworks from its inception, and is co-creator of the Barreworks Training Methodology. She oversees the development of new class syllabi and certification courses. Leni is excited to build and expand the Barreworks community with the Certified by Barreworks Program.

Leni is a movement specialist who takes a holistic approach to health and wellness. She is a certified Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Instructor, practising in this modality for over 20 years and has completed over 500 hours in Yoga Teacher Training. She specialises in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Leni finds it exhilarating to watch the transformative and healing aspects of movement, especially in circumstances where clients are able to move in ways that they never thought were possible. Rejuvenation in all areas of life is important to Leni. As a Certified Master Life Coach, she works with clients to move past their existing barriers and create the fulfilling lifestyle that they desire. 

Avery Beatty
Certification Coordinator

Avery became Barre Certified by Barreworks in 2019, and has loved the methodology from Day 1. As a dancer and fitness professional, she believes that the Barreworks functional approach to movement is a total game changer, in both self-practice and instruction. As Certification Coordinator, Avery is always happy to answer any questions about our certification programs and is looking forward to connecting with the Certified by Barreworks community!

Britanny Booth
Principal Trainer

Britanny has spent most of her life moving and studying movement. After beginning dance classes at an early age, she later focused her studies on modern dance, completing the Professional Training Program at the School of Toronto Dance Theatre. She has completed the Teacher Training Program in ballet at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts, and is a certified barre and Pilates instructor. She finds joy in educating children and adults through movement, and in teaching aspiring instructors to do the same. Britanny brings a humorous and motivational approach to her teachings, with a focus on safety and creativity.

Kathia Wittenborn
Principal Trainer

Kathia is a Toronto based dance artist, movement specialist, and teacher. Her certifications  include: Barre, Pilates, Personal Training, Restorative Yoga, Meditation, Pre/Postnatal Fitness and Core Confidence Specialist. She has been with Barreworks since 2014, where she shares her passion for movement and wellness. Her warm and supportive teaching style empowers aspiring instructors to achieve their goals. Kathia’s mission is to continuously deepen her knowledge and experiences to support her ongoing growth and share her learnings towards the growth of others.

Paulina Loiselle
Certification Coordinator

Paulina’s passion for fitness and movement began as a young dancer and she holds a BFA in Dance Performance from Ryerson University. She is certified in barre, Pilates, and pre/postnatal fitness. Paulina has been an integral part of Barreworks from the outset, and is proud to be part of the Principal Trainer Team. She is passionate about educating and mentoring aspiring instructors and guiding them towards achieving their personal and professional goals. Paulina brings enthusiasm, energy and a deep understanding of functional movement to her teaching. She believes that learning can be fun and loves sharing her sense of humour with her students. 

Rachel Fackoury
Principal Trainer

Rachel began her career as a fitness instructor teaching Zumba while completing her degree in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto.  She has over 9 years of experience leading group fitness classes in a variety of fitness modalities, including strength training, cardio dance, mat Pilates, and barre. Rachel brings energy and enthusiasm to her teaching  and loves sharing her passion of teaching movement to others. As a Principal Trainer, Rachel creates a welcoming space wherein all participants can enjoy learning and exploring. She hopes to inspire and empower future instructors to find their own passion for teaching movement and share this passion with their community.

Tricia Tomiczek
Principal Trainer

Tricia has an insatiable curiosity for all things movement related. She has extensive experience in dance, yoga, Pilates, spin, TRX, myofascial release, and is a pelvic floor, diastasis, and pre/post natal exercise specialist. Her love for movement began as a classical dancer and has evolved into wellness through movement. Tricia is thrilled to be a part of the Barre Certified team and looks forward to all opportunities to educate and connect with other fitness enthusiasts. A Principal Trainer since 2016, Tricia brings focus, energy, humour, and a deep understanding of body awareness to her teaching. Her love of movement education and barre encourages students to thrive in a comfortable, friendly, and supportive learning environment.

Avery

Britanny

Britanny Booth Principal Trainer

Britanny grew up in Truro, Nova Scotia where she began her dance training at a young age. She completed the Teacher Training Program at The Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts where she graduated with a diploma, as well as her CDTA associate in ballet, and jazz. Moving to Toronto to continue her training, Britanny graduated from The School of Toronto Dance Theatre’s Professional Training Program in 2013. Britanny is currently on the faculty of The Young Dancers’ Program at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre.

In addition to dance, Britanny has a passion for fitness, and well-being which led her to become a barre certified instructor at Barreworks, where she has been teaching since 2017. Most recently Britanny has become a mat Pilates certified instructor (MuseMovement). Her dance, barre, and Pilates practices inform all aspects of her teaching, which keeps her classes dynamic, creative, and ever evolving.

Kathia Wittenborn Principal Trainer

Originally from Montreal, Kathia Wittenborn is a Toronto based dance artist, movement specialist, and educator. She is a graduate of the Professional Dance Training Programs at Le Conservatoire de Danse de Montréal, Ballet Divertimento, and The School of Toronto Dance Theatre. As an independent dance artist, Kathia has participated in many professional development projects across North America and Europe and has had the privilege of working with many critically acclaimed dance artists and companies. Her work in Tribal Crackling Wind’s “Woven”, won her a Dora Mavor Moore Award for Outstanding Performance (ensemble). Her dance experience traverses into her work as an educator, group and personal fitness trainer. She has taught specialized movement workshops in Toronto, Montreal, and Kuujjuaq, Nunavik. Her certifications include; Barre, Pilates, Personal Training, and Myofascial Compression Techniques.

Kathia has been with Barreworks since 2014 where she shares her passion for fitness and wellness and empowers clients and collaborators by helping them towards their goals. As a Principal Trainer at Barreworks, she creates programs, trains their current and future instructors, and leads “Barreworks Certified” certification courses. Kathia’s mission is to continuously deepen her knowledge and experiences to support her ongoing growth and share it towards the growth of others.
