Props: Mini Stability Ball

Saturday, June 12th, 2021 | 11:00am - 2:00pm EST on Zoom

This course focuses on incorporating a mini stability ball into your classes. It can be used to effectively target different muscle groups in many different movement modalities, such as barre, Pilates and Yoga. You will finish this course prepared to confidently integrate safe and effective movement sequences with the mini stability ball into your class creations. Your clients will love the challenge and will keep coming back for more!

Learning Objectives:

Course Preparation: Please be prepared to demonstrate 2 movement variations using the mini stability ball:

  • One variation at the barre
  • One variation on the mat

Prerequisite
: A solid understanding of functional movement principles and planes of motion.

Cost: Early Bird: $149 + HST | Regular: $199 + HST

Note: The mini stability used in this course is 10″ (25 cm) in diameter. A ball slightly larger or smaller will work as well. Mini stability balls can be purchased here.

Prenatal Barre

This CEC is online only and takes approximately 3-4 hours to complete.

The Prenatal Barre CEC is an excellent resource for learning more about pelvic anatomy, prenatal workout techniques, and safely adapting barre for pregnant clients. With a focus on effective core engagement, deep breathing, and pelvic health, the learnings of this course are beneficial and applicable for all folks.

Expand your barre repertoire and learn how to create fun and effective exercises your clients will love. Gain confidence in creating functional variations for squats, lunges, pliés, and single leg work as you build on planes of motion. Elevate your cueing skills to build optimal alignment and create seamless transitions that flow.
